Medicated Cleansers – Need a little “umph” in your routine?

Ninja Skincare offers two medicated cleansers… Our Wipe Out Wash, which contains Benzoyl Peroxide, and our Revolutionary Cleanser with Salicylic Acid, which contains… you guessed it, Salicylic Acid. So which one would be best for you and your skin type?

First, let’s talk about our Wipe Out Wash – it contains 10% Benzoyl Peroxide…a potent anti-acne ingredient.

We generally recommend WOW to clients who are treating their body acne (back,chest,body). By using the WOW twice a day, we are adding an extra push to their treatment. This medicated cleanser will:

– Remove more excess oils
– Kill surface bacteria
– Leave behind a benzoyl peroxide residue on the skin for continued anti acne fighting

For clients with very oily skin on their faces, we recommend using the WOW as well – mainly at night after a day of stress and environmental impacts to the skin. Avoid the eye area if you decide to use this medicated cleanser on your face as the skin around the eyes is very receptive to drying out.

By integrating a stronger medicated cleanser into a client’s skincare routine, we are able to increase the overall potency of their clearing treatment.

So how about our Revolutionary Cleanser with Salicylic Acid?

Our Revolutionary Cleanser with Salicylic Acid is a pretty cool product to use. Unlike some other active ingredients, it has no odor and it does not cause any bleaching to your clothes, sheets or towels. Also because it is a beta hydroxy acid and has a particular molecular structure, it is a perfect daily exfoliant for all skin types. Our formula is made with no sulfates which are often irritating to individuals with sensitive skin, so they are able to use a medicated cleanser with no ill effects.
