I struggled with acne from high school into my my 20’s. I tried the prescription medications. I tried everything. As I got older, it just never went away, and the scarring both physical and psychological got worse and worse. I searched the internet endlessly around 1999 (my mid-20’s) for something, anything, that may work…. Something I had not tried yet, and I stumbled across the ninjaskincare.com website. Honestly, I did not have much faith in the beginning as nothing had ever worked, but what the heck, let’s try something else. Except this time it did work. It really did work!

My skin was slowly, not immediately, but slowly clearing up. Pamela from the beginning was listening and guiding me to what she thought I needed. We emailed. We talked on the phone. I was in Florida and she was in California. She shipped the products to me in Asia when necessary when I was traveling. I used her products for a number of years and the acne basically disappeared by the time I was in my late 20’s. Then I decided to try something else, just for a change (Proactive) as they had a promotion or something. BAD IDEA. My skin almost immediately went right back to break-out mode. I contacted Pamela frantically and she got me back on track. I will never stop using her products. I have rarely had a pimple in some 10 years now, but I attribute this entirely to Pamela’s products.

As I grew older, I moved into her age-defying products, which I use in combination with the cleansers and sunscreens and masks and other things from time to time.

I know the Company has expanded a lot from when I first found this relatively small company online, and I believe Pamela has shut down her doors in Walnut Creek (which I was fortunate enough to actually visit once), but I am so thankful that the products still exist and I pray that whenever Pamela retires someone else takes over that will adhere to the standards that Pamela has set.

I see other kids at school and feel bad for them because their skin is so broken out and I want to tell them about the products I use, because they’re awesome. I play multiple sports and sweat a lot and these products really help to keep my skin clear of breakouts. I still get an occasional pimple, but it clears up very fast.
